There are times when one doesn't want to use the tasks to be sorted by start time or expected duration. To sort the tasks as per you need we have introduced a SortOrder column in the schedule. 


Here is a step by step guide on how to use the SortOrder.

Admin> Rosters & Schedules > Schedule
Actions > Export to xlsx.
Locate the SortOrder column and assign all tasks with a number so it can be automatically sorted.

Note: The task with SortOrder 1 will appear first irrelevant of the start time or expected duration. Make sure that you apply SortOrder to all
